An exploration of juvenile delinquency. This class places special focus on the types of crimes teens and adolescents commit, the role of the criminal justice system in their lives, and outcomes for those who interact with the criminal justice system from a young age.

The Frontier Myth

A deep dive into a foundational mythology for western society. This course takes a broad historical survey of the origins of the frontier myth, and tracks its social implications through the ages, with specific focus on its role as a racializing metaphor and its important to cultural products.
